The purpose of this study is to objectively and comprehensively examine the impact on various areas of the tourism industry after the outbreak of COVID 19. The opinions of a total of 12 interviewers were summarized as follows. Because of COVID 19 era, travel agencies are having a lot of difficulties, and financial difficulties have been found to be the most serious. Duty-free shops operating at the airport have no customers at all and therefore no opportunity to generate profits. As a result, the airport duty-free shop allowed online shopping, and consumers could enjoy online shopping at home without going to the airport. As such, airport duty-free shops have succeeded in turning the big crisis into an opportunity. Airlines are not operating normally because there are no foreign tourists, and many pilots or flight attendants are losing their jobs or taking unpaid leave. Some airlines offer very cheap plane tickets to domestic customers and encourage them to fly instead of trains or buses. Accommodations such as hotels and motels are also negatively affected by COVID 19 and the number of customers who want to stay at the property has decreased significantly, so it is having a hard time generating profits. Therefore, some hotels, especially luxury hotels, offer delicious meals to telecommuters and help them work on convenient chairs and desks. As such, this study examines the various service sector damage caused by COVID 19 and aims to provide more realistic solutions.
