The purpose of this paper is to examine the social and cultural implications of Taiguan lamb, which appears poetic works of Song Dynasty of China, and to examine the Mentality of scholar-bureaucrats who played a leading role at the time through analysis.
Based on his ability, the Mentality of scholar-bureaucrats of Song Dynasty was very proud of being accepted into the past and became a government official and had a strong sense of elitism. Taiguan lamb, which was with them during that time, is a cultural symbol that shows their psychology in the midst of their ups and downs.
Food is both a social object and an object for instinctive gratification that satisfies the tongue and makes you feel full. On the other hand, food is a representative cultural code. We should pay more attention to the social and cultural symbols of the food than to the food itself. This is because food is a sign that indicates where an individual or person belongs, power, wealth, or social status. The specific food as a medium between the Emperor and the Mentality of scholar-bureaucrats was Taiguan lamb served by the emperor"s man.
The Mentality of scholar-bureaucrats willingly embraced Taiguan lamb with a sense of consciousness, but when the meaning was not realized and frustrated, Taiguan lamb as a pride turned into a lump of meat with a greasy and greasy smell.
