The study looks at the research trend of studies conducted in Korea related to Taekwondojang and further detailed areas of social studies from an academic perspective. Also, the study aims to identify related problems and suggest which direction Taekwondojang should pursue in the future. Regarding the search method, the Research Information Sharing Service (RISS), the National Digital Science Library (NDSL), and Korean Studies Information Service System (KISS) were used to collect data about academic journals published in Korea over 20 years from 2001 to April 2020; a total of 409 papers were found to be on Taekwondojang, and 406 papers were chosen for the analysis excluding 3 non-relevant papers. For data processing, the SNA Package of Program R (version 4.0.2) was used to identify the connective structure among keywords. Also, centrality indices were measured to identify the keywords that were at the center of such structural network, and the result was as follows: for research related to management, “customer satisfaction” and “quality of service” showed high centrality indices excluding Taekwondojang, followed by keywords mainly about purchase behaviors of consumers such as “customer loyalty”, “loyalty”, “satisfaction”, “relationship marketing”, and “relationship quality”. Meanwhile, in regards to social studies, “Taekwondo master” was highly shown in all centrality indices excluding the search keywords “Taekwondo” and “Taekwondojang,” followed by work-oriented keywords such as “leadership”, “transformational leadership”, and “job satisfaction”. Also, keywords related to emotions such as “perception” and “emotion” were also found.
