This paper is aimed at develop technology that quickly and easily analyzes learning achievement by item and component. For a total of 95 students, computer-based test was conducted on 10 items reflecting six components of probability and statistics. Academic achievement analysis is automatically performed by dividing into two stages of achievement for items and for components with minimal user input. The k-means clustering and gaussian mixture model were applied to students’ responses to each item, classified them into 4 and 5 groups, and the achievement of each group was analyzed. This makes it possible to analyze the learning achievement in detail according to item response patterns, not simply to analyze the total test score. The results of grasping the learning strengths and weaknesses of students could be used for customized learning by level.
