The purpose of this paper is to suggest goals and contents of curricula for improving English language learners’(ELLs) digital literacy related to climate change and sustainability. To achieve the purpose, curricula around the world were analyzed in the aspect of goals and contents of the digital literacy. The results of analysing the curricula were applied to develop goals and contents of digital literacy related to climate change and sustainability. In this paper, it was suggested that (a) ELLs have attitude of actively accessing to information about climate change and sustainability with curiosity, and collaborate with others to complete given tasks with respect and empathy by using digital tools, (b) have knowledge and skills of searching for and interpreting information about climate change and sustainability, and interacting and collaborating with others for completing tasks about them using digital tools, and (c) have implementation force of challenging real world issues about climate change and sustainability, and practicing to solve problems creatively in collaboration with others using digital tools. Also, topics related to the environmental change and sustainable development were suggested based on the 2015 Revised English National Curriculum and the National Curriculum of the United Kingdom, and accomplishment standards were established in terms of climate change and sustainable development.
