This paper contains the results of practical action research aimed at deriving implications for Korean written language education. The study of an American-Korean child analyzed by this study took place in the United States for about 900 minutes in 12 sessions from January to May 2018. I was able to observe the process of her learning Hangul while teaching Korean directly. As a result of this Hangul acquisition learning, she can read about 36% of the 50 words and about 60% of the 123 letters in the Korean language textbook of Korea. Based on these results, I concluded that: First, learner's individual and cultural characteristics and environmental conditions have a great influence on Hangeul acquisition. Second, the learning effect for Hangeul acquisition is high when it matches the vocabulary familiarity and the exposure degree of the learning character. Third, the effect of using basic syllables table for learning Korean cannot be found. Fourth, a specific turn cannot be found in this Hangul acquisition process. Fifth, the use of vocabulary considering mutual culture is recommended for Korean language education for all Korean Language learners.
