Creative talents who will lead the future are built on the humanistic imagination. Therefore, we need more humanities education for students who are tired of the competition for entrance exams. In elementary and secondary school, we should be able to understand the nature of humanities, not just knowledge transfer. And humanities education should be established to explore the nature of human beings. This paper introduces the humanities program operated by Sogang University CORE Project and Soongmoon High School for two years. And the results of the survey of 755 students who participated in the program were analyzed. The survey found that students also needed humanities, and they hoped to open a humanities class at school. Above all, students thought that they could understand human beings, think creatively and convergently, and enrich their lives through humanities. However, there are not enough specialists in the secondary school field to provide humanities education. There is also no accumulated experience in humanities education. That is why there is a need for a concrete humanities program model that can be run immediately in secondary schools. In this paper, a humanities program model was created based on the experience of operating a humanities program in collaboration with universities and high schools. Based on this, it is hoped that universities and secondary schools will form a local education community to actively implement humanities education for secondary students.
