The amendment of Regulations affecting the governing body of NACUFOK has been open to the public in October, 2008. The key points of the amendments are as follows: 1) the president of NACUFOK shall hold a honorary position only and his authority and power will be diminished; 2) NACUFOK will appoint a full-time Planning Director; 3) the number of Executive Officers should not exceed 15 and the half of the officers shoulld come from non-regional cooperatives; 4) NACUFOK will establish an Inner Board within the Board of Directors, which will be in charge of strategic decisions and day-to-day decision-makings in the credit area and take the responsibilities of appointing and dismissing NACUFOK's employees. Since this amendment, however, seems to diverge from values, features and principles which the co-operatives in general are seeking for, we will discuss the problems of this amendment and look for the alternatives to solve this problem
