The aim of this study is to confirm the propriety and validity on grammar teaching terms in elementary education. The period of elementary education is very important in grammar education. The learning on main contents of grammar education is started in this period. Therefore we need to consider carefully about using grammar teaching terms. The major contents were referred to this study are as follows. 1. Phrase type was the most common and the second type was Sino-Korean word type. 2. Some words of phrase type is needed to change because the meaning of that words is ambiguous. 3. Generally Sino-Korean word type is same that of secondary education. But Some of that has the problem in selecting and explaining concepts. 4. Some of hybrid word type have the problem on the order of appearance because students are not easy to understand the meaning of words. 5. Korean native word type is not many and some word of this type has problem in connectivity with secondary education.
