The State council directed all officials, levelled the politics towards the ruled and governed the nation at the middle age of Chosun dynasty according the Kyungkukdaejeon(경국대전). It’s main political activity is composed of the reception of the order, keimun(계문) and euieui activity(의의활동). The euieui activity was the most important among them. The main activity of the State Council is the administration of law, the personnel management and military affairs at the same age. It leaded the state affairs all times. It, based upon the function as the most superior state organization exercised the powerful function with directing the six Ministries indirectly. In spite of the change of the state management, the fortification of King's authority, and the rising of the powerful high officials, it exercised the power and function exceeding that of the Six ministries with leading the political system. Briefly, based upon the function as the most superior state organization, it has exercised the powerful function at all the fields of state affairs as the most influential political organization at the middle age of Chosun.
