Analysis of Narrating Method in Seongsanbyeolgok The narrating methods of Seongsanbyeolgok are precisely analyzed and the meaning of it included in the narrating methods are investigated in this study. It can be found that Seongsanbyeolgok is narrated in the dialogic style through the characters: the authors transfers the subjects to the reader in a detouring way. The dialogic style in narration draw more interests and attentions from readers than the conventional unilateral style in narration, because it gives the opportunity for reader to accomplish the meaning of works. Seongsanbyeolgok makes people in the world understand the life and thought of recluse men through the question and answer between the host and guest, and reveals the speaker's anxiety between two realms - the mundane and the recluse world. The speaker induces the reader to arrive at the same conclusions with the speaker's one. The author Song-gang accords himself with the speaker in the works. He showed the inner conflict because of the anxiety for the realities of life, even though he aspired the immortal beings. The narrating methods of Seongsanbyeolgok is suitable for revealing the heterogeneous ideals and lives and reflects the heterogeneity and diversity of society. It is clear from this study that the narrating methods of Seongsanbyeolgok is formed from the performance methods of Gasa - It is recited in front of audiences. It has played an important role in converting the narration methods of Gasa from the speaker centered narrating method into the audience centered narrating methods. The results from this study can be treated as a microscopic one due to the limited discussion only on Seongsanbyeolgok. It should, therefore, be verified by expanding the discussion about the narrating methods and meaning in it for the whole Gasa.
