The object of this study is the group of stories appeared in documented stories in later Chosun dynasty, the word of Dojaesang means that gentleman became the leader of thief. In this stories, gentlemen became thieves in a way of dream come true though, because of ethical limitation stories were modified variously, this study pursues to clarify the relationship. The results of those kinds stories which gentleman became thieves and expressed their idealism are as followings; 1. This study focuses on the fact that documented stories with new theme come out, which didn't appear until the middle of Chosun dynasty. It is kind of meaningful phenomenon reflected by later Chosun dynasty that moderate gentlemen became the thieves director and steal others' property by using their smart head. 2. Various ways to steal others were introduced and this is to test the senses of gentlemen themselves toward the thrift in these works, it is very special. In this time, governmental system couldn't employ the able gentlemen properly, those kinds of stories reflected this problems of that absurd society. 3. Some other fact appeared in later Chosun dynasty, some gentlemen who couldn't get any chances to be government official looked at idealism and lead group of thieves to steal corrupted officials' property and got real with money. 4. Confucianism is government ideology of later Chosun dynasty, so it was weird and against morality that gentlemen became the leaders of thieves. A lot of these kind stories appearances lead starts of creating novels like <HuSeng> written by Park Ji Won.
