The research on the natural objects are increasing recently as the demands and concerns on the antiaging, anti-oxidant, and health rise; and changes in the recognition on the quality of life. An active oxygen, one of the major causes of aging processes, is an oxygen compound that is produced from the normal metabolism of the body cells of animals and plants. This active oxygen is good for body when it is an adequate level, or accelerate aging process by attacking normal cells. An antioxidant substance protects human body from the process of oxidation of active oxygen and delays aging process. Therefore four types of berries; Acaiberry, blueberry, Corni and Mulberry, were purchased after verifying place of origin and used as a specimen extracted and freeze-dried from the reflux condenser using 70 percent ethanol in order to study natural antioxidant substance that is playing a protective roll. Concentration levels of polyphenol and flavonoid of each extract were measured, cytotoxic was reviewed by MTT assay, and antioxidant activities were analyzed using DPPH radical scavenging and ROS scavenging. There were antioxidant activities from the 70 per cent ethanol extracts of Acai berry, Blueberry, Corni and Mulberry. There were entirely no or extremely small quantity of toxicity which leads to the higher possibility of marketable antioxidant product by controlling density of concentration.
