The world of business calls for high caliber, but for such style to be successful teamwork must be efficient. The Transactive memory system (TMS) is the popular topic in teamwork research and this can be described as “group mind” a psychological hypothesis concept.
This study used the (AHP) model to determine factors can affect the TMS, and to find the relationship between collectivism, TMS and team performance. For the survey of employees of multinational enterprises 157 respondents came from native groups and 165 were from international groups. The research showed that, group training, team members familiarly with one another, communication and personal trust were the four top factors influencing TMS. For native group, team member familiarity and personal trust had the most effect on TMS; for the international group, training was the most important. For both groups, collectivism could become the moderator between TMS and team performance.
