Optimal row-column designs for factorial experiments are studied in this paper. The designs, thus, have factorial balance with respect to estimable main effects and interactions. John and Lewis(1983) considered generalized cyclic row column designs for factorial experiments. Classical factorial designs obtained using methods other than the method of confounding are also shown to be useful. Choi(2006) a simple method of constructing optimal designs using the classical method of confounding for block designs is described, also we would like to express with optimal row column design instead of confounded (unconfounded) row column design in this paper.
