The purpose of this study was to examine the relations between father’s child rearing involvement and child’s development using meta-analysis. The study estimates effect size 58 pieces of relevant studies(published between 1990 and 2015). Comprehensive Meta-Analysis software was used for data coding and analysis. The results of this study were as follow: First, the Hedges' D effect sizes of the early childhood physical education program were found to be .29 on average and the percentile of nonoverlap(U3) was .61 which indicated that medium effect sizes in the associations between father involvement and child’s development. Second, when mean effect sizes were compared according to moderator, mean effect sizes were significantly affected by child ages. Consequentially taken together, father’s child rearing involvement showed that there is a close correlation with the child development.
