The purpose of this study was to compare the fatigue caused by nuerotransmitters according to the exercise types such as anaerobic exercise (ANE) and aerobic exercise(AE) under 35℃ hot environment. For the purpose, 16 males participated in and all of them exercised alternatively maximal running exercise on treadmill and wingate exercise as the supramaximal exercise under 35℃. During each exercise, we measured the plasma serotonin, dopamine, prolactin through brachial vein at the rest, post exercise and recovery period. Additionally, fatigue perceived index and pH, ammonia, lactate and rectal temperature were checked. For the analysis, we performed the repeated ANOVA and correlation between factors by exercise types. The results were following as: 1. There was no difference in plasma dopamine and serotonin between exercise types, but prolactin in ANE showed the tendency of increasing at the recovery period after post exercise(p<.05), while in AE decreased. 2. Ammonia and lactate acid in ANE were higher at post and recovery(p<.05) than AE, while pH in ANE was lower than AE at post and recovery significantly(p<.05). 3. Rectal temperature of AE at post was higher(p<.05), while at recovery rectal temperature of ANE more increased than AE(p<.05). 4. On fatigue perceived index, ANE had higher value than AN at post and recovery(p<.05). 5. On the correlation among factors, Fatigue perceived index, serotonin and dopamine correlated with rectal temperature positively in both exercise, but fatigue perceived index of ANE had negative correlation with pH(p<.05). With these results, we concluded that fatigue after ANE might be affected by pH, while AE might be influenced by the increasing of core temperature by duration of exercise. In addition, fatigue caused by nuerotransmitters, although under hot environment, might need the increasing of core temperature aroused by the sufficient exercising duration.
