The aim of the study is to illustrate the reliability of peer-assessment on a PowerPoint group presentation in an ESP (English for specific purposes) course. The data were collected from three different classes in two different universities in Korea. The average correlation coefficients between this teacher-investigator and the learner-evaluators in each class were computed respectively as .54, .61, and .70, indicating modest levels of agreement in scoring. The results of the factor analyses on the learners' evaluation scores showed that they tended to distinguish verbal evaluation from non-verbal. The multiple regressions indicated that the efficient use of presentation time and the effective delivery for understanding were very influential criteria for the learners' peer-assessment. Based on the findings, the following is suggested: First, it should be useful for the teachers to utilize a PowerPoint group presentation as a component of ESP classroom activity at the university level. Second, it could be acceptable to adopt or adapt the learners' peer-assessment scores for the purpose of teachers' final grading.
