Studying Vietnam's modern economic history, the writer devoted to the phenomenon that revealed in a convulsion of political and economic situation. Now he approached the economic history that has run through Vietnam's history. If it is possible, the sudden changes in politics and economy of Vietnam's history can be understood as a story. This can be a huge research. Writer started the study from the research on establishment and development of Vietnam's centralized socialism because he saw the feudalism and the society after the colonialization as the developing period of modern idea, and for Vietnam, an underdeveloped agricultural country, to industrialize, reconstruction of socialism in agriculture, the primary industry was the biggest homework. The contents are limited to the North area before the unification because the North area, the origin of Vietnamese socialism, shows precisely the formation process of the early socialism. This thesis will intensively analyze capital accumulation construction through which makes it possible to measure a country's economic level, construction and openness. Also, to prove by analyzing the economic logic and conformity that collectivization policy was distorted due to ideology, the writer concentrated on each stage's background and objective for agriculture collectivization, and on the variation of productivity according to ownership transition for operation. Structure analysis on the combined company will be completed by a following thesis. There is a view that socialism has no merit for research. However, Vietnam accepts the capitalistic system economically, at the same time, it is under the influence of socialism both socially and culturally. In front of financial crisis started in US, the research on socialism which was originated as an alternative of capitalism may help finding a third new alternative. Also the research on the current socialism of Vietnam which came through rapid changes dreaming of a new world coming out of colonization will contribute to the future of North Korea, history, politics and economy of which are similar.
