The purpose of this study was to find out the camp activities effect for Mentally Retarded Children.The subject of 40 were divided into two group ; the one was experimental group, 20 members, and the other was control group, also 20 members. They were all composed of mentally retarded children, 13～17 years old, in a special education middle school, in seoul. In order to get the effect of camp activities, checked the subjects before camp activities and tested them twice after one night two days and two nights three days camp activities.The average and standard deviation of the results from pre-test and post-test were get using KISE Developmental Scale. And in order to verify the difference between pre and post test, we performed T-test. In conclusion, the camp activities improved Self-living skill, Social-emotion behavior, Language ability for Mentally Retarded Children.
