The purpose of this study is to analyze the determinants affecting the satisfaction of urban tourism by tourists who visited a particular city. This study, as an exploratory study, analyzed the factors affecting the satisfaction of urban tourism by dividing into four categories: experiences, sights, foods, and shopping during the day. Using SPSS 23.0 statistical program, frequency analysis, factor analysis, and simple regression analysis were applied to present the results. Frequency analysis to analyze demography, factor analysis to test validity of seven items of sights, and simple regression analysis to test hypotheses provided for the study were employed. The conclusions presented through this study are as follows. First, sights, experiences, foods, and shopping of urban tourism are all important because they have all significant effects on satisfaction of urban tourism. Second, the variable that has the greatest explanatory power in satisfaction was the food. Therefore, practitioners in urban tourism should pay attention to food for tourists. Finally, even though the researcher estimated that those tourists who visited the Mokpo city would not show a significant influence on satisfaction due to the lack of diversity of shopping in the city, it turned out that tourists were satisfied with a variety of shopping opportunities. This study was limited to the daytime sightseeing, not the nighttime. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out an analysis of determinants of satisfaction by focusing on nighttime tour, as future research.
