Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine the learning effect of positioning for football goalkeepers using reference points. A total of 26 subjects were randomly assigned to the exercise group and the control group of 13 people respectively.
Method: The task used in the experiment was to position the goalkeepers so that the target points (A, B, C, D) and the target reference point in the goal line are aligned using the reference points located in the specific area. Experimental design was 2(group)× 3(time) factorial design. Two-way ANOVA with repeated measure on times was conducted. Performance scores were used for dependent variable.
Results: The results of this study are as follows. 1) As a result of the main effect analysis of the post test on the interaction effect, the exercise group showed better learning effect than the control group 2) As a result of analyzing the main effects of the retention test on the interaction effect, the exercise group showed better learning effect than the control group. 3) In the analysis of interaction effect on the integrated analysis of the whole region, the exercise group showed an excellent learning effect in the post-test and the retention test.
Conclusion: In conclusion, the practice of locating using the reference points showed an effective learning effect for the goalkeepers and provided significant implications for the follow-up study.
