From this study, I have concluded welfare institution policy of recreation for the old as follows: First, general welfare centers for the old should be at least one for the seoul and kwangyeok-si(senior local governments in Korea including Kwangju, Dea-gu, Dae jeon, Ul-san, In-choen, and Bu-san), and each si, do, gu, myun(a Korean administration district) should have one or two welfare centers. All these general welfare centers and welfare centers should be funded and operated by the federal governments or the local governments. Second, Kyungro-dang(a recreation center for the old) should be at least one for dong, ri(a Korean administration district) and have enough facilities to provide several programs and activity opportunities for the old. Third, Noin-Gyosil(a class for the old) could find versatile recreational persons from each local government, private institution, religious group, school, and voluntary center. Fourth, Noin-Hyuyangso(a resting room for the old) should be situated in the beautiful scenary and a place easy to get to, and funded by the local government Fifth, Education programs of recreation for the old should have multivarious activities such as sports appropriate for them, gateball, jogging appropriate for them, dancing suitable for them, walking suitable for them, climbing, reading which is proper for their physical, emotional, and economical status, singing of popular music or Minyo(Korean traditional songs), and performing a musical concert by a drum, a chang-gu(a Korean traditional double headed drum pinched in at the middle), a percussion instrument, and so on. Sixth, There should be several appropriate courses to train recreation professionals for the old in the private organization. Seventh, Special treatments for the old such as priority seats and free tickets of public transportation are now operated by the public organization. For further developments, these kinds of special treatments should be expanded to the private organizations like public baths, hotels, department stores, Noraebang(Korean karaokes), PC-Bang(a place where you can use pc like internet cafes), Swimming pools, restaurants, theaters, sports centers, and concert halls.
