The purpose of this study was to investigate the difficulties in the teaching profession of Non-tenure special education teachers′in special education schools and the demand for the improvement of the special education teacher system by interviewing 10 Non-tenure special education teachers in special education schools. Therefore, data were gathered from April 2, 2018 to May 12, 2018, through 33 interviews, telephone counseling or e-mails 11 times. The Participants were selected as special education teachers who have more than 2 years experience in Non-tenure special education teachers of special education schools in Kyungnam. The interview data were analyzed by the continuous comparative analysis method. For validity and reliability, we used triangulation method, inter-coder reliability, and participant identification technique. As a result, four main subjects, seven top topics, and thirteen sub topics were derived. As a results of this study are as follows. First, most of Non-tenure special education teachers have difficulty in the classroom administration and the process of distrust of parents, unfamiliar administrative processing and uncooperative aspects of formal special education teachers. Second, the lack of individualized education programs suited to the characteristics of students with disabilities posed difficulties for specific instruction methods and programs. Third, although the school administration and classroom management are carried out in the same way as the formal special education teachers, they could not confidently assert themselves in the related work. Fourth, non-tenure special education teachers had very low job satisfaction due to unstable recruitment conditions such as appointment contract, compensation, benefits and retirement. The results of this study are Non-tenure special education teachers by improving such as resolving instable employment problems and adapting them to teaching profession. Therefore, it is expected that this result will be possible to change the consciousness on special education systems.
