This study takes the identity of public art in historical and cultural areas as the research object. Through the theoretical investigation and research on the public art of historical and cultural regions, the author draws three researches on the public art identity study of historical and cultural regions represented by Jingdezhen Taoxichuan.Three evaluation factors that shape spatial identity were drawn:1.physical space 2.historical and cultural environment3.economy and industry.The identity of Taoxichuan public art in Jingdezhen, China was analyzed and evaluated, and related issues and suggestions were put forward. The survey results are as follows:
The characteristic of Taoxichuan in Jingdezhen is the architectural form of the Bauhaus jagged roof and the tall chimney.And it takes the original state-owned cosmic porcelain factory site as the historical basis,Giving cultural significance to the entire region.And divided into different regions according to the development background and the needs of the times,Through the connection of history, culture and resources, the public art is involved in the planning and design of the environmental space, combined with the overall planning of the space.and it has had a positive impact on the characteristics of the city and the development of the economy.However, the number of public art is small, the overall layout is scattered, and a system has not yet been formed through some form, theme and other unification.
