The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of self-regulatory efficacy on career maturity of university students majoring in airline service with a high degree of agreement between core career and employment field. Career maturity consists of five sub-factors: determinism, objectivity, assurance, readiness, and independence. The data were collected from 313 college students. I used SPSS 18.0 for the basic analysis of data and AMOS 20.0 for structural equations model analysis. As a result of the analysis, it is found that there is a significant positive relationship between self-regulatory efficacy and determinism, between self-regulatory efficacy and assurance, between self-regulatory efficacy and readiness, and between self-regulatory efficacy and independence. And it is found that there is a significant negative relationship between self-regulatory efficacy and objectivity. So all hypotheses are adopted. As the ongoing development of the airline service industry from now on is predicted, the results of this study suggest the necessity of self-regulatory efficacy management for university students majoring in airline service, and provide useful guidelines for professors.
