The purpose of this study is to identify the causal relationship between food service users’ detox life and their food therapy, intention of eating-out behavior and quality of life, and to present practical implications for the sustainable management of food service companies. The results of this study are summarized as follow.
First, according to the result of testing the hypothesis between detox life and food therapy, the detox Life was divided into two sub-factors: physical detox life and mental detox life. The relationship between physical detox life and food therapy (Hypothesis 1-1), and the relationship between mental detox life and food therapy (Hypothesis 1-2) were all proved to have a significant causal relationship.
Second, according to the result of testing the hypothesis between detox life and the intention of eating-out behavior, both the relationship between physical detox life and the intention of eating-out behavior (Hypothesis 2-1) and the relationship between mental detox life and the intention of eating-out behavior (Hypothesis 2-2) had a significant causal relationship.
Third, according to the result of testing the hypothesis between detox life and the quality of life, the relationship between physical detox life and the quality of life (Hypothesis 3-1) did not have a significant positive effect, but the relationship between mental detox life and the quality of life (Hypothesis 3-2) had a significant positive effect.
Fourth, the testing of the relationship between food therapy and the quality of life (Hypothesis 4-1) was adopted based on the result of testing the hypothesis between food therapy and the quality of life.
Fifth, according to the result of testing the hypothesis between the intention of eating-out behavior and the quality of life, the relationship between food therapy and the quality of life (Hypothesis 5-1) had a positive effect.
