This study is to investigate the traveler`s choice behavioral characteristics of the overseas travel package product according to different patterns of lifestyle. The purpose of this dissertation is to examine the choice behavior of the oversea travel tourists being segmented by lifestyle and to influence them the basic element of the decision making process and to give the marketer better knowledge to develop the overseas travel package product successfully. The survey conducted from Jul. 29th through Aug. 29th. Total of 500 questionnaires were distributed to the tourists who were experienced in using the oversea travel package products of travel agencies in Seoul Korea and 423 were collected and 43 were unable and 374 were analyzed. SPSS/WIN were applied to frequency analysis, factor analysis, cluster analysis, and one-way ANOVA with duncan multiple range test. The results show that lifestyle group was divided into 5 clusters ; self-realizing, cultural-mined, daily-life, change-oriented, showing-off. the excellent and the properly trained. The results also show that marketers of travel agencies should look into their markets first before setting up their marketing strategies to develop the overseas travel package product successfully. Particularly, the results show that marketers of travel agencies should consider such attributes as tourist convenience, properly and excellently trained employee, good services, the effort of product development before they decide to select an appropriate the overseas travel package product. The survey conducted from Jul. 29th through Aug. 29th during the summer holidays. Total of 500 questionnaires were distributed to the tourists who have experienced using the oversea travel package products of travel agencies in Seoul Korea. 423 questionnaires were collected and 43 were abolished due to insufficiency, so 374 were analyzed. SPSS for Window Versions 10.0 were applied to frequency analysis, factor analysis, cluster analysis, and one-way ANOVA with duncan multiple range test.
