The purpose of this study is to attain promotion of quantitative and qualitative participation by the community ageds, to grope for the ideas how to be changed in order to cope with desire of ageds by the respect-for-ageds house more efficiently from now on by analysis of the operating status and problem areas of the respect-for-ageds house and further presented the developmental direction by review of possibility in resources development of the community. The respect-for-ageds houses are established and operated by 38,452 points in total throughout the country however, there is no detailed provisions stipulating in relevant to the house were not provided and the houses are not systematically operated due to falling behind in facility custody, opaque in whereabout of operating responsibility, lack of programs, lack of disposition by operators, non-professionalism in operation and lack of community organization and resources mobilization. Since therefore, we have the issue has to normalize the operation of respect-for-ageds house by establishing new guideline to prescribe operating plans of the houses from now on.
