This research concentrates on examining closely materials of systematic course which must be complemented and improved based on students` reaction who are majoring dancing because it brings up many educational problems such as curricular, qualification, a major field of study and position formation in running department. Method Questionnaire has been out by random sampling. 400 students participated in questionnaire and half on them belonged to College of Physical Education and the rests belonged to College of Arts. Results 1. 51.54% of respondents want to be a professional dancer, 20.36% want to be a critic in the future. Also 54.12% of them want to separate of major field when they are junior and 23.71%are in sophomore. 2. Besides the Korean traditional dancing, ballet and modem dancing they want to have classes of creative dancing and educational dancing in major field. About present course of study 29.12% of them need more practice and workshop, but 27.31% of them said they did too much practical talent. 3. Regarding the formation of study course 44.32% of respondents answered it was moderate but 37.62% said it was not adequate. 4. 56.70% of respondents thought it would be very ideal if dancing department were formed in college of Arts and 26.54% thought it must be positioned in college of physical education. 5. 84.79% of respondents approved that dancing class must be opened in elementary, junior high and high school as a independent course of study. But 80.92% of them disapproved present acquisicion of teacher s qualification. 6. 54.45% of respondents answered that the main reason of disapproval was due to different study course in major field. Also 69.84% of them needed to have teacher`s qualification and course of study in each school for cultivating daning teacher.
