The study enforced research analysis study for investigate of major perception degree and satisfaction in university student of department of dance and practical dance. The study subjects were selected by 246 dance major student who while in college 4 local university established student of department of dance and practical dance in 2009 present. Data processing used to SPSS(ver 12.0) as follows that make standard p<.05 level of significance statistically. The results are as follows : The first, investigate question of major perception degree that were `satisfaction` was 26, 10.6%, `not satisfaction` was 92, 37.2% positive results appeared comparatively. But then `not so bad` come out to be higher(120, 48.8%) then other answers. Second, five subvariables of major satisfaction by grade that showed difference of significance statistically. but `careers and employment`, `learning evaluation` were confirmed lowest group 4 grade of have gradate ahead. Third, the results of analysis department perception by major, `applicant motive` not showed difference of significance(p=.511) statistically in `major` but `department satisfaction` (p=.000) showed difference between group p<.0001 level of significance statistically. `Korean dance` group(M=3.73) appeared the best satisfaction rate group on the other hand `practical dance` group(M=2.82) appeared the lowest satisfaction rate group Four, the results of analysis department satisfaction by major, `Korean dance` group appeared the best satisfaction rate group on the other hand `practical dance` group appeared the lowest satisfaction rate group in `careers and employment`, `college environment` `learning evaluation` variables. `department of dance perception rate` in college or society` not showed difference of significance(p=.718) statistically. Fifth, the results of analysis to the effect of influence matched up to major satisfaction by department of dance perception rate or satisfaction, it have relativity between variable correlation coefficient .43, significance probability .000 also, the explanatory power(R(2))was 18.1 percents that influenced(P-value .000) to major satisfaction by department satisfaction at p<.0001 level.
