The purpose of the study is to investigate Taekwondo discipliner’s values for humanistic education. The study focused on what values Taekwondo discipliner should have for educating humanity and how masters and instructors of private Taekwondo studio should perform humanistic education with their educational background. Five Taekwondo masters who have longer than 10 years of instruction experience and strong philosophy of humanistic education participated in the present study. In terms of data collection three in-depth interviews were conducted with all participants focusing on knowledge base of humanity and teaching-learning process for humanistic education in Taekwondo studio. Also the results from humanistic education and anguish as an educator considering youth humanism were additionally asked during the in-depth interview. All interview questions were selected and organized by analysis of answers from an open questionnaire that was distributed to masters and instructors of private Taekwondo studio. The collected data were analyzed by the inductive analysis method. According to the results, the participants had accumulated various knowledge based on humanistic education for educator. They strongly believed effectiveness of Taekwondo discipline as a humanistic education considering learner’s emotional capability such as thoughtful mind. However participants had felt the necessity to improve expertise for humanistic education in the respect of practicality of their humanistic education.
