The purpose of this study is to examine the status and performnace of the objective of the sports voucher business, which is the representative business of sports voucher. And it is to propose an operational strategy to sustain and expand the sports voucher business. The research methodology of this study is as follows. Specifically, it includes government policy report (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Ministry of Health and Welfare), research project, project plan & result report (Natinoal Sports Promotion Corporation) and thesis. After analysing the concept and meaning of sports vouchers and reviewing the main status and achievements of sports voucher business, findings are as follows. First, it is necessary to expand financial resources for sports voucher. In order to gradually expand the budget from the central government, it is necessary to secure the imperativeness of sports welfare projects for low-income poeple. For this, we need to expand the duration of the mandatory support for existing sports lectures and provide a numerical value that can represent the effectiveness of support in a longitudinal way. Second, quantitative expansion of sports voucher is required. It is necessary to reduce the differences in service levels and develop public relations policies & support that can be expanded into various sports events. Also, it is necessary to confirm the sports programs that can be supported and make efforts to develop various sports events programs through the sports associations of Korean Olympic Committee. Third, it is necessary to improve the quality of sports voucher. In order to improve the quality of the service, it is necessary to expand and check the facilities on site so that the competition between the suppliers can be induced. In addition, it will be necessary to simplify the procedures of affiliated institutions & membership facilities, and to provide incentives to the superior affiliated facilities. Fourth, it is necessary to construct a multidimensional public relations (PR) system for sports voucher. Through the mass media, the Internet and related agencies, awareness and utilization of sports voucher should be raised.
