The purpose of this study was to measure and find the determinants of the effectiveness and customer satisfaction of the sport voucher service in Korea. The data has been gathered from 20 basic local governments, 100 service providing institutions, and 400 voucher service customers. The study findings were synthesized as following. First, the effectiveness and the customer satisfaction were very high as compared to those of other service, therefore the voucher program can be evaluated as very successful. Second the market competitiveness and an important characteristic of voucher management greatly influenced the effectiveness and the customer satisfaction of the program. Third, the period of using the voucher significantly influenced the effectiveness of the program, but did not influence the customer satisfaction of the program. Fourth, profit organization showed higher effectiveness than non-profit organization, but it did not show any significant difference in terms of customer satisfaction. Fifth, the destitute group evaluated the effectiveness of the program lower than the other upper group. therefore the level of income influenced the program. Finally, the age did not influence the customer satisfaction and the service effectiveness.
