Objectives：The aims of this study were to investigate the characteristics of intertemporal choice in methamphetamine users and to examine the relationship among intertemporal choice, impulsivity and working memory.
Methods：Methamphetamine users(n=37) and normal controls(n=41) were recruited. Intertemporal choice, working memory and impulsivity were assessed with the Delay Discounting Task(DDT), the Wisconsin Card Sorting Test (WCST), Barratt Impulsiveness scale(BIS).
Results：The indifference point of DDT in methamphetamine users showed significant increase compared to the control group. Methamphetamine users showed higher total score on the BIS, non-planning and motor subscale and poor performance on the WCST. Statistical analysis showed no evidence of an association among value depreciation, working memory and impulsivity.
Conclusion：Methamphetamine users showed delayed discounting at intertemporal choice. There was no significant correlation among delayed discounting, impaired working memory and self- report measure of impulsivity.
