This study is a post-research to the “Educational implication of Amateurism,” which analyzed Lao-tzu"s ≪Taoteching≫, conducted in 2016. The purpose of this study is to explain the Educational Applications of Amateurism specified in ≪Taoteching≫.
An arguments researchers are implying in this study is that the public living in the modern society is being dominated by the professionalism. The term professional inherits a clear objective and direction. Also, specific strategy to achieve the objective as well as rewards for the results exist and liability issues stemming from incorrect results are distinct. However, human minds living in this kind of social system are always in unstable condition as they live in anxiety being exposed to the endless competition and new environments as well as objectives.
Amateuristic attributes in ≪Taoteching≫ may be able to provide positive ideas to the various kinds of academic fields, especially providing proper political as well as systemic implications to overcome pathological phenomenon of the modern education. Various educational implications suggested in this research stands counter to the education of modern society, however, clearly suggests directions that education for human being should aim.
