Kim Dal-su, one of the greatest first-generation korean-japanese writers, was born in Korea in 1919. Because of the poverty and the situation of Japanese colonialism, he had to go to Japan with his old brother illegally by ship at age 10. Despite of poverty he could go to school for Japanese for 2 years by his brother. While he read Japanese literature, he came to have an interest in literature. He wrote his works in Japanese to inform Japanese people of real Korea and Korean. And his purpose of writing was to make the relationship (Korea and Japan, korean and Japanese) humanization. He believed that everyone has common human truth. In this papers I have tried to study on his love for Korea and Koreans through his works written about resistance of koreans. In these works he described korean-japanese that suffered from poverty and unfair treatment and left-wing koreans suffered from the pressure and unfair treatment of America and south korean government after liberation as a socialist. Also he presented Koreans suffered from poverty and discriminate. Through the study on two works, I came to know the situation of Korea and Koreans life after liberation and, his love for Korea and Korean. I think that the study on Kim dal-su gives us new views of relation among the nations. It is also helpful to make relation among the nations, and gives us the chance to think what complete independence is. What he really wanted is the complete independence of his country without others" intervention. From now I will continue to study his works and his ideology through his love for Korea and Korean. Even though he changed his theme in several type, he never changed his love on his country and people through his all life as a real nationalist. And his ideology was on the truth of human.
