The ultimate goal of the automotive test sector is to increase the level of satisfaction of customers, led to deliver the defect-free product through the verification of various customer`s usage. In the field of the durability test in OEM and suppliers have also tried to verify the various consumers’ driving mode using “Simulation test” in the lab. The 4POST test rig is one of the simulation test facility. It can reproduce vertical direction of the 4 corners.
Durability simulation test has been used for evaluating the developing vehicle or system during vehicle developing process. The 4POST simulation test is also used for durability verification focus on a consumer unexpected operation.
In this study, one of the reproduction method is suggested, that is a kind of customer`s abnormal operation mode and has not been included in the standard durability verification mode. The event mode is “Wheel Drop Mode”. It is caused by rebound force of the wheels.
