This study was carried out the safety standard and performance evaluation method for the brake lining, which is applied to the brake system of the vehicle. In the vehicle test, utilizing the passenger cars and vans, comparative analysis of the oem and as. In the dynamometer, comparative analysis of the oem and as. Furthermore, by analyzing the results of the actual vehicle test, we performed the dynamo tested in the same test method, the results of analysis of the results, it was possible to prove the validity in some test list. However, when applying the safety standards, since the scope of international standards oe are different, it is difficult to apply the actual vehicle tests and dynamo test domestic. We must analyze test data through many dynamo test for the introduction of performance criteria of a brake lining.
