The purpose of this study was to investigate the motor control strategy used in the execution of a execution of a rapid sequent aiming movements from home key as a function of complexity (segment of movement) and target size Twenty-four subjects were required to execute a total of 40 trials of experimental task both in one segment and four segments of movement conditions toward small (0.3cm) and large (3cm) targets arranged horizontally in equal distance in a 2×2 within-subject design The MTs and RTs were measured via computer-based recording system and analyzed with 2-way ANOVA with repeated-measures. It was concluded that the response complexity had the most effect on motor control. And human behavior is effected on preprogramming (adjustment phase) better than on-line modulation (control phase) on this task.
