This study started from the awareness of the sharing economy"s positive features for the expansion of a collaborative consumption culture based on a trust and collectivity, and for intensifying the local industrial competitiveness and the life quality of citizen through using the idle resources. In this study, with the target for sharing accommodation which is recently reviewed with legal and institutional in Korea, the citizen’s supports for making the public platform of sharing accommodation were measured through the willingness to pay(WTP) of citizens. As a results of an estimated WTP of the socio-economic benefits of the sharing accommodation platform applied for contingent valuation method(CVM), the result of double bounded dichotomous choice CVM is 4,141 won a per household, Tobit model is 13,305 won. Finally, the total socio-economic values of the platform business of sharing accommodation derived by extending the results of DBDC, are estimated about 2.4 billion 80 million won. This means the socio-economic benefits of citizens in Daejeon according to activating a sharing accommodation as a sharing economy in tourism sector.
