The aim of this study was to explore the competencies of the Daddethan educational community. To do this, the meanings of community competency and the competency of the Daddethan educational community need to be defined. First of all, to identify the unique community traits, general group traits are examined in contrast to personal traits and then several group types are compared among themselves. Second, to explore the community competency, literature competencies such as team competency, organizational competency, collective competency, and learning organization was reviewed. Third, to define the core values of the Daddethan educational community, the core components of the Daddethan educational community were identified based on previous research and defined as trust, empathy, respect, and contribution. Finally, the competencies of the Daddethan educational community were defined. Results show that the competencies of the Daddethan educational community include not only community competencies like community identity, community structure, community process, and community culture but also personal and interrelational competencies to realize core values systematically. The competencies of the Daddethan educational community were discussed according to the previous procedure.
