This study aims at identifying golf coaches’ attitudes to turnover as subjective structure and provide the base line data in order to search for the ways of preventing them.
45 items for Q sample and P sample obtained from 34 golf coaches in Daegu and Gyeongsang area have been selected. Q factor analysis with standard score and principal component analysis has been conducted on the data by PC-QUANL program.
The attitude to turnover have been identified as 3 distinct types: Positive-organization-pursuer(Type 1), Individual-value-pursuer(Type 2), and Friendly- relation-pursuer(Type 3). These 3 types explains 53% of the variance.
This study discussed the golf coaches’ attitudes to turnover and investigated the their thoughts and nature of their turnover practices. The results of the study can be utilized as base line data to improve and modify the work places according to the turnover attitude of golf coaches.
