Tourism is a comprehensive industry, and its development affects the local economy in various aspects. There are many theories and practice to support this view. But with the further development of tourism industry, there is something more worthy of paying attention to behind the economic data. The main objective of this paper is to find the deeper meaning of tourism development, to reveal economic meaning of implicit indicators. The method used in this paper are mainly descriptive statistical analysis, calculation analysis and ANOVA pairwise comparison analysis. Based on the latest tourism statistics, this paper analyzed tourism development in China and got the conclusions that although the data of tourism development in China is optimistic, there are deficiencies in quality; By testing correlation degree between the indicators, got the result that DT (domestic tourist) is a high correlation indicator and is a very sensitive indicator of economy.
