In this study, it is necessary to study the social and psychological factors in order to understand and recognize the importance of sport for the characteristics of China"s university students. The purpose of this study was to engage students in China"s ongoing sports activities as a reserve member of society, by expanding the base to provide a foundation for lifelong physical education.
To achieve the purpose of this study, since September 2014, was selected for a four-year college located in Jiangsu, China in population. 472 parts were used in the actual analysis. The data was analyzed by SPSS Windows ver 20.0 and Amos 18.0 Program. It was used to Confirmatory Factor Analysis, Frequency Analysis, Independent sample t-test, Correlation Analysis, Multiple Regression Analysis. Results were as follows.
First, Sports participation group of Chinese University students was higher informational support, teacher relationship, friendship, school rules than non-participating groups. And The higher the participation frequency and intensity of sports participants was higher teacher relationship.
Secondly, the social support of China"s University students participated in sports had a positive effect on school adaptation. In detail, Both evaluative support and informational support had a positive impact on teacher relationship. And, the evaluative support, material support and emotional support had a positive impact on friendship and school rules. Lastly, the evaluative support, material support and informational support had a positive impact on school classes.
