While considering the new Calvinism movement in the United States, the researcher is to investigate the brief backgrounds, the remarkable characteristics, and the key preachers of this movement. The main focus of this study is to discuss the homiletical features of the preachers in the new Calvinist movement in the United States. In light of the reformed theology and homiletics, this paper presents the essential traits of new Calvinistic preachers: 1) preaching rooted in reformed theology and preachers, 2) preaching based on reformed biblical theology and the philosophy of biblical preaching, 3) preaching grounded in the Calvinistic worldview and presuppositional apologetic preaching, 4) preaching focused on Post-modern culture and spiritual idols, 5) preaching for reformissional contextualization and transformation, 6) preaching aimed at the audience analysis and a life-changing application, and 7) Christ-centered, pastoral redemptive and Gospel-centered preaching. In conclusion, this paper suggests the five directions for future research and a Calvinist revival in the Korean church.
