This research is conducted with upper grades of male students with A and B elementary schools to figure out the perceptional difference on the distance between the normal-weighted and the over-weighted. The perceptional distances come out of 2 groups(a group of the normal-weighed and the other of the over-weighted) are analyzed with repeated Two-way ANOVA. The results shows that 1. the students subjected to the experiment, in average, recognized the distance to the colored-cone shorter than the real distance. 2. the average perceptional distance of each group was different. 3. the group of the over-weighted recognized the distance farther than the other group did in average, as the distance between the subject and color-cone becomes farther. Based on this research, If the more obesity-cure programs are made with the understanding on the psychological affects in the perceptional distance and with the consideration on the difference in the perceptional distance between the normal-weighted child and the over-weighted, the more effective program are expected to be made.
