The present study surveyed 264 elderly women participating in dance activities and analyzed the relations among their psychological happiness, self-esteem and flow experience, and drew conclusions as follows. First, as to correlations among psychological happiness, self-esteem and flow experience in elderly women participating in dance activities, significant correlation was observed between psychological well being and self-esteem, between psychological happiness and flow experience, and between self-esteem and flow experience. Second, in the results of analyzing the relation between psychological happiness and self-esteem in elderly women participating in dance activities, psychological happiness explained 43% of self-esteem, and among the sub-factors of psychological happiness, "present satisfaction" had the highest effect on self-esteem and "past satisfaction" had also some effect on self-esteem. Third, in the results of analyzing the relation between psychological happiness and flow experience in elderly women participating in dance activities, psychological happiness explained 18.4% of flow experience and "present satisfaction" affected flow experience, but "past satisfaction" did not affect flow experience. Fourth, in the results of analyzing the relation between self-esteem and flow experience in elderly women participating in dance activities, self-esteem explained 13.9% of flow experience, and among the sub-factors of self-esteem, "self-respect" affected flow experience but "self-distrust and self-abasement" did not affect flow experience.
