The purpose of this study was to examine differences in expectation and recognition for the dance academy teachers. It aims to improve dance academy students learning abilities and to offer practical materials that are contributed to private education. The results of this study were as following: 1. There was significant difference between the level of expectation and recognition for the all of four aspects of teaching method, personality, human relation, facility management. That is to say, the level of expectation of the dance academy teachers was higher than that of recognition. 2. As to the aspect of teaching method of dance academy teachers, the level of expectation was shown significant difference in the grade, the career, the winning a prize whether or not, the age of dance academy teachers and the during with dance academy teachers. And the level of recognition was shown significant difference in the major, the winning a prize whether or not and the during with dance academy teachers. 3. As to the aspect of personality of dance academy teachers, the level of expectation was shown significant difference in the grade, the major, the career, the winning a prize whether or not and the during with dance academy teachers. And the level of recognition was shown significant difference in the major, the winning a prize whether or not and the during with dance academy teachers. 4. As to the aspect of human relation of dance academy teachers, the level of expectation was shown significant difference in the grade and the winning a prize whether or not. And the level of recognition was shown significant difference in the grade and the major. 5. As to the aspect of facility management of dance academy teachers, the level of expectation was shown significant difference in the grade, the career and the during with dance academy teachers. And the level of recognition was shown significant difference in the major and the during with dance academy teachers. From these results, the level of expectation for the quality of the dance academy teachers was higher than that of recognition, particularly the level of expectation of first and second grades was higher than that of third grade. Therefore dance academy teachers need to try to develop proper dance programs for grade.
