The purpose of this study was performed in order to examine each major university students` experience with escort services in the Daejeon-Choungname area, the recognition on bodyguards, and the recognition of the necessity of bodyguards at the present and in the future. The subjects selected for this study were a department of leisure and study(162), secret service(102), and general(102). The date were collect by questionnaires. The following results were drawn by analyzing the material obtained using the x^2 method. 1. In the case of leisure and studies major, 31.5% appeared to come in contact with bodyguards from time to time, and 64.2% have never come in contact with bodyguards before. In the case of secret service major, it appeared that 54.9% have never come in contact with bodyguards before. In the case of general major, 64.2% have never come in contact with bodyguards before, and 31.4% appeared to come in contact with bodyguards from time to time. 2. Regarding experiences having to come in contact with bodyguards through the media among each majors students, all of them students answered yes over 85% of total. 3. Regarding recognition of bodyguards among each majors students, they replied that bodyguards seem to be dependable 49.2%, nice-guy 34.4%, unconcern 11.2%, and cool 5.2% in order. This result was confirmed to have a meaningful difference statistically on a p<.001 level among each majors student. 4. Regarding recognition of majoring in guarding among each majors students, they replied that bodyguards seem to be dependable 38.3%, nice-guy 30.6% unconcern 25.4%, and cool 5.7%, in order. This result was confirmed to have a meaningful difference statistically(p<.001). 5. Regarding the necessity of bodyguards in case of being threatened among each majors student, the replied that a bodyguards are right 56.6%, probably 16.4%, more necessary 13.9%, and not necessary 13.1% in order. This result was confirmed to have a meaningful difference statistically(p<.01). 6. Regarding the necessity of bodyguards as the present among each majors students, they replied that a body guards are not necessary 63.1%, right 20.5%, more necessary 8.7%, and probably 7.4% in respectively. This result was confirmed to have a meaningful difference statistically(p<.001). 7. Regarding the necessity of bodyguards in the future among each majors students, they replied that bodyguards are not necessary 32.2% , right 31.4% probably 19.4% and more necessary 16.7% in respectively. This result was confirmed to have a meaningful difference statistically(p<.001). 8. Regarding the qualification of bodyguards as the present among each majors students, cultured and goodl-mannered was highest 49.3% and then a people was graduated from secret service major 45.2%(p<.01). 9. Regarding the former career of bodyguards as the present among each majors students, all of them answered yes 41.8%, more necessary 25.4%, not necessary 19.7%, and probably 12.8% in order(p<.05). 10. Regarding the guard costs for dignity among each majors students, they replied that it reaches 75.1% of a suitable level to a some extent(p<.001). 11. Regarding the guard costs for safety among each majors students, they replied that it reaches 73.0% of a suitable level to a some extent(p<.001). 12. Recognition on service for kindly guard among each majors students, they need to take a secret service of a right 50.5%, probably 25.7%, not necessary 14.5%, and more necessary 16.7% in order(p<.01).
